Shaad Shopnil is a Bangladeshi visual artist working primarily in painting, and drawing. Her work explores memory, identity, nature, and the relationship between abstraction and representation through layered color and expressive mark-making.
She received her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from William Paterson University and her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
